Bournemouth (A) - FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Eventually a great day in the sun on the coast. As others have said a tale of two halves, but wonderful to see KDB, Bernie and Jack have some top moments in the second half.

Good atmosphere too - even after we went behind, and that would have been one hell of a trip for local Blues.

BUT...what the flying fuck...

We are in Block 26 (the away section behind the goal), in Row K. And 20 mins before kick off, a group of at least 8 folks arrive two rows ahead of us (Row I, Seats 32-40ish) - there are a few kids in the group - one wearing a Leeds shirt and the other a Bournemouth shirt!!! They all have bags from the Bournemouth Club shop too.

There were quite a few angry exchanges - with the adults (not the kids) - and a lad in the row in front of us got hold of the lead steward, and they were escorted out (they were claiming, from what we could hear that they were Argentinian and had bought the tickets from a website) - but strangely, the adults then returned, without the kids about 10 mins into the game. Very fucking odd.

If the steward had not taken action, I have no idea what would have happened once Bournemouth scored - in fairness the adults who returned just sat in their seats in silence the entire game, but yet again, a total ticket allocation fuck up - no doubt from one of our 27 ticket resale agencies - or are some of our fellow 'fans' simply being wankers and trying to to be their own 'Viagogo'??

Anyway - if @Alex - City Matters is interested - the seats are as described above, so shouldn't be hard to find out what happened - and I have photos too.
They were right in front us. Found it very strange when the adults were allowed to return

that were fucking crap. dads army is beyond cooked its so sad to see

Great win and effort from the lads, much more like it!
It’s funny that we might end up with the same amount of pots as the all mighty, all conquering Liverpool!

See you at Wembley! Not bad in a 'shit' season!

2nd half was the best we've played in ages
It was pure chalk and cheese...been saying for ages get O 'Reilly in more , he clearly brings youthful dynamism and has that something extra in terms of quality

Jack looked sharp again but would be nice if he took a shot once in a while.
Amen to that! He had one golden opportunity and a few other breaks. He did well cutting inside, but sometimes I feel like his first option needs to be to create an opportunity for himself not dropping it off for someone else on the edge of the box.

This was a satisfying game. It had the feel of one of those terrible games that ended up in a loss. And yet we pulled it out. Even looking sublime for a few minutes. So so good! I am so so happy :)

When they beat us on their patch last year it heralded the start of that atrocious run of defeats and injuries. Let's hope that this win also on their patch is the start of a decent run of winning games.

Will we be boycotting the semi final due to ko time and ticket prices?

He could and should have had a couple of goals in that cameo, gets himself into great shooting opportunities then wants to pass , has to be a confidence issue.
