Same ref also, Taylor, ignored this today but gave Arsenal a penalty v us for similar. Just shows how we are officiated differently by the same officials, Taylor is always very dodgy when officiating us

I thought he had an up and down game. Took his goal well, and was instrumental in all 3 goals. But on many occasions he just failed to see a player moving ahead of him. Both Lewis and Alvarez complained to him about not getting the ball to them when theyade a run.

He got better and the goal and goal involvement were great to have. But I won't conclude he convinced he was a first name on the sheet type with that performance.

But good to have him back.

Alvarez ‘s reflex is top notch. killer instinct.
I really don’t think it’s fair to be harsh on Philips. Think he’ll come handy toward the end of the season and bring him in second half to add extra shield behind Rodri .
He is like Fernando 2.0 but it’s his first season and deserves to settle down a bit .

I couldn't believe them saying the bus back for city will be a disappointed one or something to that effect because we let one in after the game being well and truly over. Many players got a run who needed minutes, 5 subs and Foden looking like himself again. It was very positive from our point of view.

Enjoyed that last night it just flowed nice attackin wise,foden was quality,i do think mahrez slows it down an doesent compliment haaland so deffo a foden instead of mahrez from me,was just an all around strong performance that,littal rico was brilliant the rest were on point also

A great result, funnily enough I thought we were better against Forest but the chances just wouldn't go in. We really could and should have scored six that game.

One worry for me is how easy we are to play through. Bournemouth got behind us a fair few times and gave us some hairy moments. They could easily have scored a couple more. Forest did it once last week and scored. A slight concern.

Yeah we were miles better against Forest. Not keen on that back 3 because they just aren't good enough on the ball and Akanji looks out of his depth when having to play out near the touchline. Would like to see it with Stones, Dias and Laporte.

Young Rico did well. Phil looked like that miss last week had hit his confidence early doors but it came back after he took that goal really well.

Arsenals next 5 games all look very winnable. Not going to be easy this. We will need to be almost perfect and hope they drop decent points at us, Newcastle and Liverpool. May just be enough?
