Very little expectation. Spent big money and still the quality of our play is not as good as other top tier teams in EPL.

Is this a serious comment? We won our opening game, and then played Everton off the pitch with 10 men and you have no expectation?

Who do you think will finish top 4 this season?

Bournemouth away isn't the type of game we need to be playing 5 defenders. Get Sane in his correct position, Sterling deserves a start and lets see last seasons formation with fullbacks Pep wants.

Like last season, I think we'll be stronger away than at home. The home fans won't allow teams to sit back and just defend and the extra space will give us plenty of opportunities.

Would it be top tier Arsenal who lost at Stoke

Maybe top tier Everton who could only manage a draw at City despite the extra man for an hour.

Perhaps top tier Spurs who have managed 2 wins in 9 at their new home and just lost.

Or top tier Charles who conceded 3 and lost at home to Burnley?

AND IT'S NOT THE EPL. IT'S THE PL. We know it's English, we are aware where all the teams play and one of them plays outside E.

Why are you so upset?
I literally do not have a clue why you have gone so defensive. You were the one slagging off other posters for their honest views due to it not being in line with yours
I simply put a clear reason as to why Silva may not be in the team I would pick on saturday, if given the chance.

And PS, if he was injured for the majority of pre season, and thus hasnt performed for the first 2 games; benching him saturday shouldn't be too dramatic anyway?
And with regards to setting him back, this is not david silva FC. I love the guy and what he has done for us, but he has been part of a side thats won no titles for 4 years now and in turn we shouldn't blindly stick to the same side over and over again, thats all
