Need to win this 3 0 to us.
Also isnt it typical that we sign 2 full backs and none of them are available for Saturday.
 
Danilio in for Walker, I'd like to see B Silva starting and either D Silva or KDB can make way for him, Jesus has been poor in his 2 starts this season so I'd go for Kun up front, Sterling deserves a start after his 2nd half showing on Monday....wouldn't be sad to see Fernandinho on the bench either
no doubt Mr Pep will go 3-5-2 again so it will be Ederson - Ota - VK - Stones -Toure - Danilio - Sane - B Silva - KDB - Sterling - Kun
 
Having watched the Everton game again, I thought the first half was better than a lot of people think. I saw enough improvement in the 3-5-2 from the Brighton game to be quite happy if Pep decides he wants to experiment further with it.

Besides a win, what I would like to see in this coming game is for all our attackers (starting and off the bench) to at least once blaze a shot at goal. No taking a touch to try and make it perfect. No dishing it off to someone else if you think they may be in a better position. Just take it on themselves and put their foot through it. I don't care if the keeper saves or if it ends up in row Z, just get rid of the tension that appears to be in all of them when a scoring chance pops up. They've got to get themselves back into the habit of having a crack and not worrying if it fails. The chances will start going in.

Sterling has to play, great form against Bournemouth who struggle with his pace and movement.

I would like to see Pep be more flexible with the system or we become too predictable. We should set up for the opponents weaknesses.
This game requires dribblers.
Would defo start with both silva's.

Yaya
B.Silva/KDB/Silva/Sane
Sterling

Options then with Jesus & Aguero
 
If Mendy is not available, then maybe Danilo at LB or LWB and Fernandinho at RB/RWB, freeing up an space for Bernado or Yaya, or both!

Inverted wingers cut inside and the fullbacks overlap.outside.

Regular wingers cut outside, leaving fullbacks to play the inverted midfield role.

The other posters personnel suits the talent of the fullbacks and wingers better. Yours stifles at the very least, the fullbacks who are better overlapped than pure passers.

About every time this fallacy gets brought up, within a month its disproved. And we all pretend no one ever said it.

I forget all the debby downing going on about our strikers.

Just have a look at the number of chance creating passes both attempted. I think I counted 5 for Agurep and 4 for Jesus.

There movement off each other was very good too. (They almost always ended up on different sides of the goal.

Was dissapointed with their end product, but that had zilch to do with their partnership, just individual failings. Jesus dropped deep and Aguero stayed up.

The partnership looked fine. Its the individual performance that struggled

I like this lineup - might start Jesus ahead of Aguero though, not sure. Both strikers are a bit off-form at the moment.

Probably would start Toure ahead of Fernandinho - Bournemouth isn't going to present an attacking challenge so our DM won't have much to do - Toure's passing is far better than Fernandinho's and should be the better option.

We should win the ball back quickly on shadow press - I think that our DM will have little to do on defense - should this prove wrong then sub in Fernandinho.

I hope that Bournemouth do come at us - they will be crushed if they do.
