What?!Is it agreed that by next season if foden isn't basically a starter he should just leave? I think he definitely should. Gundogan looks to be preferred as a 6, Silva leaving, Bernardo playing out wide. "Oh but he still learning from the best" come off it guys. He's been learning under them for the past 3 years. There's only so much learning in training under kdb and the Silva's can do. He needs gametime now 100%. Even foden admitted last season when he was away with the England u21s that he lost a lot of fitness due to not being played at city.
If pep splashes £80M+ on another attacking midfielder then he should straight up leave, no loan request.
It’s not like the lad is Messi. He’s got a hell of a lot to learn and a hell of a lot to improve on.
Gundogan was the highest rated player in Europe from February to the end of the season by Opta. And with de Bruyne back, Foden goes further down the pecking order because he’s not as good as Silva Silva Gundogan or deBruyne.
David Silva leaves next Summer so he’ll move up one place. But only one place.
He’s shown no signs of not being comfortable with that.
