A shame he couldn't keep one of our best players,Bernie,in the side,and a shame he wont be playing a proper back 4 again.....but hopefully that 11 has the aggression,tenacity and skill to blow Bounemouth off the park.
Im also hoping with the inclusion of Alvarez,the link to Haaland is more cohesive and effective.
 
Would have been interesting to see KDB in for Gundogan with this sort of line-up. I think he's better in a deeper position in CM, rather than as a support striker. Should be plenty of runners for him to pick out. Maybe we'll see it 2nd half sometime.
 
If we can’t beat these then we need to turn the lights off this season. Look at West Ham hammering Forest today! At least Foden is playing again so hopefully will find some form for the weeks ahead.
 
Team is fine. Obviously not what you'd want playing a top team and we have to pay Bournemouth respect but this is the tie to rotate along with the cup game if we're going to rotate. resting walker, Bernardo, kdb and mahrez has to be done at some point. Looks like a 4-4-1-1 with alvarez playing off Haaland, no real difference to our standard 4-3-3 with kdb playing higher.

If we can't take 3 points with that team we stand zero chance of winning the league anyway. Hopefully a few early goals, although that would require a shot or two to happen and we can rest the likes of Rodri and Ake second half.
