If we’re struggling then Pep should give the young lads a chance. Peps has a tendency to not make any subs, particularly when he’s got his trusted players on the pitch. I think he needs to let that go for the next few matches and rely on the energy the young lads bring. Pep probably doesn’t see it that way and that’s why he’s the best manager in the world. Right now, I don’t think he’s got anything to lose in trusting the young lads and he’s got everything to gain if any of them take the chance they get given.

Ederson
Lewis
Stones
Ake
Gvardiol
Kovacic
Gundo
Foden
Bernardo
Nunes
Haaland

Assuming savinho is out with all the known injured. If akanji is good to go he comes in for Lewis, Lewis needs a rest anyway and him on the bench gives us an option to bring on in defence or midfield. If hes not ready the bench will look like this.

Ortega, Carson, Dias, mcatee, O'Reilly then I suppose the three lads added to the squad for spurs will make up some numbers to make very probably the weakest bench we've ever had and probably the weakest bench of any team all season. Pep just won't make any subs unless forced, which will impact the sporting and Brighton game, that Brighton one is looking really dodgy.

Bournemouth will be a challenge, they'll cause us problems with our extremely vulnerable backline and slow press, there's enough there to win the game though so injuries won't be an excuse.

Would actually play o Reilly over gundo. Pep won’t.
You got to go with tried and tested. Reilly can come on if needed. You can’t just throw him in at the expense of a club legend unless pep decides to make a point like he did with Lewis and Cancelo.

I thought Gundogan looked like he pulled hid groin.

O'Reilly, Wright and Simpson - Pusey let no one down on Wednesday, however I think all of them will be on the bench tomorrow. No doubt we will get an update on who is fit to play at lunch time today, but what ever team we put out we still have have enough quality players to get a result.

I think it might be worth going with O'Reilly, that way you have an option on the bench if it doesn't work.
