Bournemouth (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Good result but very wasteful at times and two horrible mistakes by our full backs. We stopped playing before the red card. Very frustrating at times, the KDB miss and both Haaland and Marmoush stepping on the ball at different times when played in.

Gvardiol has to get rid of these occasional moments of lunacy, he did it against Forest at Wembley but wasn’t punished, he did it against Feyenoord and now tonight. They aren’t defensive slips just shockingly poor passes. As a result Kovacic will be a loss on Sunday.

Nunes was very good all match and then screws up so badly. He always has it in him unfortunately. He did it against Arsenal and Bournemouth in the cup before.

We were far too casual at times in what was a really important match. Haaland kept passing up good shooting opportunities which I can’t fathom.

Great cameo from Nico. Delighted to see Rodri back. Shame Gvardiol’s screw up meant KDB didn’t quite get the send off he deserved.

We picked up the 3 points which ultimately is all that matters.

I felt quite emotional watching Kev in his final game at home, shame he didn't score. Anyway it has been a privilege to watch the greatest midfielder to grace the PL... you will be missed.

It was easier for him to score than miss, poor Kev.

The red card was a result of poor work from Gvardiol as well.
I thought we played well against potentially tricky opponents, but I don't want us missing out at the weekend as a result of one of "those" passes from our temporary fbs
