Bournemouth tried the defensive and it went tits up ,howe said he doesn't have that sort of player to try and defend for 90 mins,so I'm going for 1-0 against a Bournemouth bus

I would sign for that right now. I don't care how we do it, I just want the three points. Prediction: this is the weekend it is finally, definitively, and absolutely over. United lose at Leicester. We win.

The squad is looking strong at the moment and with Stones due back in maybe 10 days, we've got another 3 games to get through. With the guys rested from last night coming in for Saturday, there seems to be only 2 question marks, whether Silva will be back and if not who replaces him, and who partners Otamendi at the back.

I think we'll win this comfortably. Bournemouth have a home game against West Ham on Boxing Day which is much more winnable. We've seen recently Huddersfield and Soton put so much effort into trying to stop us (and still failing) that they both then suffered badly in the games afterwards. If Bournemouth play their first choice XI and go all out and still get beat they are opening themselves up potential huge problems in the games ahead.

This is the last game where Kompany, Fernandinho and Sane can pick up a suspension if they are booked. Even if Kompany declares himself fit, he's so likely to get booked these days i'd save him for the more tricky game at Newcastle. I'd roll the dice with Fernandinho - Bournemouth will push up the pitch and we're so much more comfortable playing out from the back with him there. Obviously if we can get a goal or two in front, i'd get him off early in the second half. Sane should be fine if he just cuts out the petulance. Depending on when we're expecting D. Silva back, we might also look to give Gundogan a breather and Foden some more minutes in that role later in the game.

Whilst you should never go into any game in the Premier League expecting it to be easy, i would be surprised if we didn't win this comfortably.

As Merlin is in Valencia for? ??? - I don't see him playing against Cherrys. Won't be match fit.
Do we know if Mangler has a broken nose? .
