Immediately looked abt the Bournemouth lineup to see if Fraser was playing. If I was Howe I’d have him up against zinchenko.

If Fraser gets past Zinchenko, he'll be up against Laporte, so I suspect they'll have him on the left, looking to exploit any space between Danilo and Sterling.

Agree 100% mate but we simply can't play him every week, Pep admitted that yesterday so you have to look at the fixtures and pick easier ones to risk it without him. Watford away Chelsea away and Everton at home all before the Christmas period are tougher games on paper making him even more vital for those.

I thought he surely would get a start today; weaker (on paper) opposition, and at home as well. It's hard to take Pep's statements about Phil being ready seriously. If, as seems to be the case, he doesn't actually think Phil's ready, fine. Just say so. I don't think anyone on here would have a problem with that. The misinformation isn't helping anyone though.

I doubt there is any misinformation directed at Foden, I'm sure Pep has told him exactly what his plans are, and what he needs to do - he doesn't need to tell anyone else. The lads young, his time will come I'm sure.

He's got an amazing engine though. I'd say he'll get the Hoffenheim and Leicester games off but that's it. It's not ideal but it's where we are.

Surprised to see so many changes, and the three injury doubts all playing, but I guess they wouldn't be named if not totally fit.

No Aguero in the squad at all is also a surprise, Jesus needs to take the opportunity and show his class. Good to see Danilo getting a game.

Hope it's a proper back four rather than Zinchenko playing very high.

I am surprised your surprised, but don't be surprised when Zinchenko plays where pep tells him to.
