That’s generous. I aim to start my caterwauling after the first spurned opportunity, which normally comes within the opening three minutes.

It's far and away our deepest position and Pep wants/needs to keep everyone happy. There's not an easy solution.

My only concern is we'll start slow because we've not had a midweek game.

These are the games that you have to trust the squad players. If not today when? I always want to see the strongest possible 11 but I’m pragmatic enough to know we need minutes in the legs of everyone if we are to go far in all important competitions.
