Foden is not producing in the central position so I would play him on the right where he has been a goal threat for us in the past. Cherki central and Marmoush on the left again for the goal threat. We need players with end product to take the burden off Haaland.
You make a good point although how effective Marmoush would be in that role is debatable. There is limited advantage in having Sav and Bobb beating players but creating little in terms of chances and goals. I would also bring Doku on mid second half to test tiring defenders.

My concern is our static defence yet again.
Pep needs to pick our best defensive fullbacks and not risk playing midfielders / defenders who are not yet 100% fit.
Can we keep Semenyo and Kluivert quiet ?
Think we will concede an early goal (probably from their first attack) and will be chasing the game.
About time we saw the new assistant coaches having an impact on tactics especially on set pieces.
C'mon City !!

I certainly wouldn’t start Marmoush. Especially if we do start with Cherki.

Marmoush was like a dog chasing a balloon against Swansea. He was very poor in my opinion. Doku is by far the better option right now.

My team would be,

Donna
Nunes
Dias
Gravidol
Nouri

Nico
Foden
Cherki

Doku
Bernardo

Haaland
Apart from a few desperate mins at Villa he’s hardly played recently. That touch and control was stunning

7 goals in 9 league games not too shabby

Anything other than a win now and it's curtains for the title.

Another set of dropped points for us and Liverpool this weekend after Arsenal winning today and it's going to be a cakewalk for Arsenal.

I just don’t want Arsenal getting to 100pts, that would really piss me off. They need to drop 10pts from somewhere.

Yes for the goal it was. But for the majority of the game he was chasing his second touch.

Marmoush for me shouldn’t be starting right now over Doku.

I'd stick with Marmoush for this game. We clearly need more goal threats and think only 1 of Marmoush or Cherki will start.

Bournemouth are playing well and a good side but it will be the typical home game where we dominate possession and chances... confident we win this, 3-1 I'll say and set us up nicely for 2 more big home games this week.

Come on City

Apparently B’mouth are one of the best sides this season. Have only lost to Liverpool. They are relentless off the ball. Want to win it back as fast as possible. So having Donnarumma and guys like Nuns with poor on ball abilities means we’re not gonna have a great time. Also not the game for Cherki to start in midfield he’d be best off the right. Our best chances would be the space they would leave in behind so we need runners like Marmoush. Long balls to the wings that Haaland picks up when he’s up against their fullbacks laying it off to Foden or Cherki to pass to Marmoush in behind is our best bet. I doubt we’ll be able to play through them. I’d actually risk Khusonov and play him RB to deal with their best player Semenyo instead of leaving it to Nunes.

Marmoush Haaland Cherki
Reinjders Nico G Foden
OR Gvardiol Dias Khusonov
Donnarumma
