Probably savinho. Pep sees something no one else does. I also think you’re right adding bernardo...........................Donna
Nunes.........Dias...........Gvardiol......O'Reilly
....................Gonzalez
...................Bernardo
Foden....................................Marmoush
....................Haaland
One more needed but unsure because of injuries and fitness. Don't want an extra wide attacking player.
I know exactly who Rodri, but my point was he won't be starting todayyou forgetting we have a ballon d’or winner?
Same as my team but I added Cherki behind Erling.Probably savinho. Pep sees something no one else does. I also think you’re right adding bernardo.
We're in the ball park area of King Colin/Paul Lake at the moment.Followed up by a terrible ACL injury that has pretty much put him out for more than 12 months with no guarantee he ever reaches that peak again.
Far too many are putting too much faith in Rodri that once he is back properly, everything will be all roses and unicorns. Need to hang fire in my opinion.
If he doesn’t get back soon to playing regularly to his previous standard, then I fear he never will. We're in the ball park area of King Colin/Paul Lake at the moment.
It's fingers crossed all round he can get to be 100% Rodders again. The thing is it'll be next season before we properly know, 2 seasons of not being a fully functional world class midfielder seems like a lifetime.
Thats the spirit mate!Rodri will be fine in the long run. Nico has stepped up now anyway.. We'll take this list to the cleaners today, 4-0.
Probably savinho. Pep sees something no one else does.
In his total of 35 games in the PL, he has 1 goal and 9 assists. I'd say during that period, he has ballooned 10 over the bar and rattled the defenders legs about 200 times, not the greatest of stats.I like Savinho and don't wonder why Pep starts him. He's quick and good at dribbling, has had more assists for Haaland since the start of last season than virtually any other City player and is only 21.
Savinho was one of our better players vs Villarreal and wasn't the only one who didn't impress vs Villa. More established players looked poor at Villa.
Gundog had similar issues when he arrived, but he turned out ok……If he doesn’t get back soon to playing regularly to his previous standard, then I fear he never will.

Oh and i forgot, raised his arms to try to get the crowd going after he's fucked up, maybe 10 times
I know who i'd pick every time out of them two, and he's not BrazilianFoden has had 1 goal involvement in the league this season. If you measure quality in that way, then Foden has been very poor.
Last season was relatively bad for any of the attacking players. Let's hope this season is much better.
So do I but, his last home start admittedly he'd not been involved in many training sessions etc he wasn't anything special.I hope he starts yer man Cherki today otherwise there will be a collective meltdown on here
khusanov doesn’t look anywhere near fit, he was skinned a couple of times on the byline on Wednesday. He didn't have the best game the other night but I'd play Khusanov over Nunes against Semenyo, just think he's better equipped to deal with him defensively.
Cheers for reply. I didn’t know and was surprised by that stat about him covering more distance than any other player in the league. He gets back and wins the ball. He gets around the pitch. Okay he is not physical but his ball recoveries are the highest of our midfield options bar Nico and Rodri. He covers more ground than anyone else in the league. Swapping Foden for Cherki will be more defensively damaging than swapping Reijnders for Cherki.
Foden is also better than Reijnders when he drops deep to help us progress the ball from defence to attack.
I for one would love to see Cherki and Foden in the same midfield.
