Don’t think so. With an almost fully fit squad then some players had to miss out on the matchday squad. Looks like it was Khusanov, Bobb and Kovacic this time.

O'Reilly at LB for me - Josko hasn't been great there this season and O'Reilly adds so much in the final third. Khusanov or Nunes at RB - Lewis would suffer against their pace & physicality.

I'd love Rodri & Nico together, if Rodri is fit, then have Foden, Cherki, Doku behind Haaland.

Nunes/Khus - Dias - Gvardiol - O'Reilly
Rodri - Nico
Foden - Cherki - Doku
Haaland

O'Reilly can push up, leaving 3 at the back and the midfield should enable a good build up. Foden & Cherki can interchange while Doku does his thing.

I was at the game he got his serious injury, and also when he swallowed his tongue, I think he would have went on to be a great, but unfortunately never got to.see if he fulfilled his potential

I know he was poor in the last game but with his pace he’s invaluable imo.
Just surprised he’s not in the squad for that reason.
