This really is a tough one. Will the emotion of kev leaving and the final farewell overshadow our more important need for 3 pts
If kev is having a bad game and we are losing does Pep leave him on like on Saturday so as not to upset the farewell party?

A good win, a KDB goal and an emotional fond farewell to send us dancing in the dark back home

Ballon D'or winners don't play Europa League. We're in for a rude awakening if we don't get the job done over our next 2 games. The entire short term future of the team rests on tonight and the Fulham game.
If we don't get into the champions league, you reckon Rodri is off to Real Madrid who very publicly disrespected him earlier this year? I can understand the worries about us missing out on the Champions League but come on pal. Whatever happens tonight we will be fine and Rodri will be here come the start of next season.

We simply can't worry about 'ifs' with only two games left, and our immediate rivals for these Champions League places winning games, for the main part .... we HAVE to WIN this game tonight and see how the land lies then, but the likelihood is that we're gonna have to win at Fulham too because all teams kick off at the same time on Sunday, and we don't know who's gonna win their remaining games!
Lol ...... i've just spilt my coffee on the dogs tail laughing at that .... he gave me a right dirty look ... chances are that i won't see him for a couple of hours now,
my daughter reckons that he's scarpered off upstairs sulking, and hid under the bed!
Looking at your username, which ones your dog, Willy or Roly ? ;-)

I fully appreciate that after the last few seasons this one has been disappointing, and in that time we've still somehow reached an FA Cup Final (yes, we should have done better in the final), and we're now in a great place to secure CL football (big 90 mins coming up).

Every other club has dropped out of CL, on at least one occasion while we have been mainstays. Our consistency has been incredible. Its not a done deal if we win tonight, but its very favourable. Add in to the mix, KDB's last game. I hope the atmosphere is electric tonight, it should be!

Totally agree. I'm also willing to suck it up and watch sterile football if it means we've made the CL. The performances can come next season.

Our biggest home game of the season is the Rags and look what happened with that one.
in context of the season this is our biggest on paper the rags yea

  • City have scored 13 goals from outside the box in the Premier League this season, more than any other side.

-/-/-/-/-

Saw the above on the BBC website regarding tonight’s match. Hard to believe, because we seem so impotent from the edge of the box?!

Go figure!
Kovacic must have half of them :)

I would settle for a performance with plenty of pace and energy and players prepared to have a shot.

The turgid crap we have witnessed for most of this season is just awful entertainment.
I wouldn't. I want the 3 points, and I don't care how we get them.

Isn't it completely obvious that this is a transitional season. We know how Pep's teams play. Go off his football history, not 1 year in that history.

So what are pigmol, VAR operators and the prem gonna pull out of the dodgy decision bag this evening ?
Same as most games.
Let's an offside player run half the length of the pitch and allow the goal.
Keeper can hand ball it outside the area.
The list and options for the corrupt cheating cunts is endless

Why stop at the keeper? They'll need to up their game now the baseline has been set

Bournemouth will sit in and hit us on the break with semenyo et al. Just as everyone has all season. One shot one goal, We will recycle the ball sideways and backwards with no exciting penetration up top. Pep will make subs in the 83rd minute replacing Kdb with ederson and echeverri will play left back. That’s my prediction
You are the Amazing Kreskin and I claim my £5
