1) Gundo for me. Ran the game from his advanced midfield role, as he was always available and made our transition from defence to attack as quick and seamless as it has been for quite a while.

2) Foden gets an honorable mention for some key moments, but (for me) that’s all they were…moments.

3) Alvarez did well to pop up in the final third where needed and with 1.5 goals (OG on “his” second!), that’s always a good day for a forward trying to take his chances on a rare start.
