Haaland was my MoM. Significant others would be Cherki and Nunes. Nunes is now playing at a very high level. He is adding tackling to his game. Perhaps he will make some mistakes as he learns this role but he may end up as an outstanding right back. Well done to the player and to Pep

I haven’t given it to Haaland despite his two goals. It could have been anyone of three or four players of what I thought was our best performance of the season against a good Bournemouth team. I voted for Gonzalez as I thought his display was great today, as was Cherki and O’Reilly.

Cant believe Bernard Silva got such a low vote, he was everywhere. And by the way i dont think he ever gets the credit he deserves.
A magnificent football brain.
I don't think a low vote reflects a poor performance, just that there were a lot of other excellent performers.

Probably because people thought that there were better players on the day. Several top performers against Brentford

Bernardo is very well respected by our supporters.

Much as I can't stand Taylor, there is no way he would see that from where he was, and that is what VAR is there for, even the views shown on TV are not very clear, but the none penalty is all on them for me.
Apparently when the ball first hits yer knee yer can safely get away with a handball. The most overriding issue is that I think he put the ball out for a corner after it hit his hand. Pity Greasy Jack couldn't have had the ball hit his knee before it wafted his cuticle. But when the dust settles we all know there's two sets of the LotG - one for us and one for the team we're playing. Taylor epitomised that yesterday.

Glad Nico Gonzales had a good game, he is growing in confidence, along with some of the other new signings. It feels like we are back again, shame about the Villa gam and we still have to be better in defence, but I think we are in a good place, second or maybe third depending on the result between Sunderland and Everton

I watched the game again on City+. Tbf I hadn’t missed much from watching it live. I couldn’t choose a motm yesterday and watching it again I still can’t. That was a team effort. I said yesterday that Dias and Doku were a shade under the rest. I got that wrong. On a second watch they were at least as good. So motm I give to Pep who selected that team and has improved so many of the starting eleven and moulded them into a TEAM.

Doku was brilliant in the first half. He created 4 chances (most) and could have easily had 2 assists.
