Nunes was fantastic up against Semenyo, and he is improving every game! Having said that I went for Haaland, his running and finishing, defending, and dominance of the middle of the pitch was amazing, back to his best. Cherki, Foden, O'Reilly, Gonzalez, Diaz all very very good too - I thought everyone was good though. Apart of course for that rag git taylor, I'm gonna say that was the worst he has been reffing us, he should be no where near us, or the rag twats for that matter.

Went Haaland for the goals, but jeez Nunes was amazing, totally schooled Semenyo which really isn’t easy. Just glad Pep has finally realised he’s the answer rather than Rico otherwise it could have been a very different day.

So many great performances today eg Haaland, O'Reilly, Cherki. But for me it has to go to Nunes who has improved his defensive part of his game so much.

Ok @jimharri as I can’t vote for John Boy I’ve summoned the inner strength and stopped crying long enough to vote for O’Reilly. He played well, he had the nous to be here, there and everywhere so he can substitute for the main man!!!

MANCHESTER CITY THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD. :-)

Nico Gonzalez for me. Turning into an absolute star in the Rodri role.

Haaland, Cherki, Nunes and O'Reilly all excellent too. Could easily have given it to any of them. Foden and Gvardiol solid performances as well.

Donnarumma 4 (maybe a little harsh but had very little to do and made a horrible error)
Nunes 9
Dias 6
Gvardiol 7.5
O'Reilly 8.5
Nico 9
Bernardo 6.5
Foden 8
Cherki 9
Doku 7
Haaland 9

Hard to ignore Haaland, but I went for Cherki - not everyday you see a headed assist from a player in his own half. Good case for Nunes too Bobby Moore would have been proud of some of his tackles. Not easy facing off against Semenyo either.

Still some old farts here doubting him. He's been on point for awhile.
Lewis at full back is one of Peps worst experiments. Nunes has improved continually throughout 2025 and hopefully can become world class in this position. All round good display yesterday with 5 or 6 justifiable claims for man of the match and growing confidence going into two big games this week.

Cherki, Foden, Gonzales, O’Reilly and Nunes were all worthy of it but let’s be honest Haalands celebration was quite fitting. The man’s a robot. Nice to see another name besides his on the score sheet but I’m enjoying seeing him tear the league apart this season.
