A Las Vegas-led consortium is aiming to complete a takeover of Premier League club Bournemouth by the end of October.

It is believed that Bill Foley, owner of the National Hockey League (NHL) team Las Vegas Golden Knights, is leading the bid.

The consortium has entered a period of exclusivity over the purchase of the club with terms and a price for the purchase already agreed.

 
The biggest threat to top-level football in this country is from the Americanisation of it. Media fannies are still fixated by the anti-Arab money though so it's still a bit under the radar. We've already had Boehly raising the All-Star game so how soon will it be 4 quarters instead of 2 halves so as to get more ad revenue?
 
No, there’s about 3 of us on here who want an allstar game.

It‘s something to do with Chelsea in 1958, but I’ve not worked out how.
