Bournemouth v City post match

Silva, pure quality.
Good to see a keeper come out and catch a ball. Great game by Willy.
Yes, quite. He also only gets credited with one save today (from Arter), but what a brilliant and game-changing stop it was when he came out at full-stretch in the first half. Don't want to pile on Bravo, who has been brilliant in the past (not for us, yet, of course), but it's that kind of unlikely save to get us off the hook when someone's f**ked up that we've really been missing.

Not a bravo bashing post, but does anyone else feel more assured with willy in goal than bravo,it surely must have been a problem for the back four when he played they where always jittery...anyhow ended up being a comfortable win just a shame we couldn't add to the goal tally, clean sheet as well jobs a goodun...

I was lucky enough to get a stream with no commentary, and it was every bit as good as I always knew it would be. Commentators piss me off. It did make the volume control very obvious though - down for foul language, up to heighten the drama when Bournemouth were attacking. Anyway, great win! Hope you can keep it up for a bit.

That'll do. Clean sheet but how we didn't score more is anyone's guess.

Liked the way we closed the game out. Not seen that for a while.

Thought that Merlin was MOTM by some distance. Classic performance from him. Just majestic.

Kev also was sublime and I love the two of them in those more central positions where they can really affect the game.

Dinho was superb at LB and gave us the solidity defensively AND the quality going forward that Kola and Clichy just don't. I'd be more than happy for him to stay there.

Another solid performance from Willy too and I reckon that's him in for the rest of the season now, which is fine by me. Wonder if Bravo gets the nod on Saturday?

Thought Raz and Leroy were also great providing pace and incisiveness which gets us in behind regularly.

Sergio looked rusty and a bit lost at first but I think the whole team had a slight wobble when Gabbi went off, but he grew into it and surely has to be given the goal. But it's now very obvious why Pep has him behind Gabbi but if he continues to put in a shift and score goals then it says something about our squad that he's second choice!?

The caveat to all that is that Bournemouth were pretty toothless and do look low on confidence. But you can only beat what's in front of you.

Oh and have to say the refereeing and commentary were both pretty fair so no complaints there either. This time.

Game on.

Yeah, we thought Swarbrick had a very good game too. He didn't get much wrong.

Some good performances there, Silva was a big level up from everybody else. Thought Leroy lost the psychological battle with their right FB as the game wore on, think their lad left some niggles in there and Leroys head dropped. Liking Willy at the moment (ooh matron!) and am desperate for Serge to step up and rip a team apart!

Silva, again, ran the show with yet another exhibition of control, vision and movement.
I've run out of superlatives for this man. He makes it all look so effortlessly simple. A wonderful, wonderful player.
