Bournemouth v City post match

Looks like Pep has got that spring back in his step. Beaming from ear to ear after the game. Don't think 2-0 reflected our superiority. Could easily have stuck 5 past them. Really hope Jesus is not injured and is back for the next game.

Yes he did look happy. He has made some very big calls recently leaving Aguero out and dropping Bravo (too late but still) and it seems to be paying off a bit now.

Silva was brilliant. Dihno at fullback was a no brainer. Stones defending was spot on. His lollygaging on the ball though was a little rusty. Kolarov was perfect. Sagna was good defensively but was part of the stall sometimes when we had the ball. Debryunes open up pass has no equal. Sterling confidence is rising and taking on all defenders. Sane was wasteful at times, but generally played well. Sad about Jesus.

Finally, barring a significant drop in confidence, I really don't see Aguero beating out anyone in the front 3. They just seem better together. But its a long season

We'll be linked to Arter tomorrow aha
5 mins ago from some BBC bellend on the live reaction thingy:.....
And there was a definite love-in between Pep Guardiola and Bournemouth's Harry Arter after the final whistle. A big hug for the Cherries midfielder from the Spaniard. Arter to the Etihad in the summer? Swap deal with Aguero? You read it here first.

8 points behind with 13 games to play !
COME ON CITY

Well done to all the players specially Dinho and Kolarov who played in two different positions this game.

A comfortable win, and couple of scary moments that Willy mopped up. The momentum and confidence is building each game. Our aim is top 4 but let's keep our focus and see where it takes us. Our rivals will worry about us whilst we (hopefully) plug away and to try and close the gap on Chelsea.

Well done City, well done the lads who made the trip, your support was heard loud and proud on TV.

We have a number of very big and difficult games left but for better or for worse there are 3 in a row (Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea) which means that even if we struggle in those, it should be fairly isolated. United will be rescheduled at some point, but the remaining 7 games after the big three (excluding United) are all very, very winnable so we could go on a nice 7 game win streak at the end of the season which sets us up to hopefully pick up some points at the end. I think we're certainly in with a chance.

So wasteful in front of goal - 16 attempts 2 goals. Another 16 possible efforts not taken by passing the ball across the pitch.
Same every week.
Still at least we are more likely to keep a clean sheet now Willy is between the sticks.
His saves tonight are proof positive that Bravo Is crap.

Such a difference between Howe's after-match interview and almost anyone else. He's intelligent, eloquent, and no excuses. Compare with Clement last week (free kick from the wrong place ffs).
