Just a quick question, has anybody been in a box in the home end at an away game? I have just been offered the chance to go into a box at Stoke on Saturday. Not the nicest of games to be sitting around the home fans for but just wondered if anybody had any past expereinces is at any good? Im guessin you cant stand up and cheer when we score haha!

Sounds good then for free! Would rather have been in with the city fans becuase the banter and atmosphere is one of the main reasons I go to the games but I suppose would be nice to get a different view of the game etc.

done it at villa park , walsall , wolves and at spuds, you loose the atmosphere a lot but you can actually get a beer at half time! only did it because they were freebies

was im box at sunderland last year cheered when we scored and all these inbreds tried to climb in

good job it was about 12 feet up no one made it then really wound them up when vassell won it

I have been away at Fulham the last couple of years.

1) There are noramlly other Blues in the vicinity who have also been invited.
2) The box I was in at Fulham was "in the home end" but to be honest the fans in front didn't take much notice of "us behind".
3) There were however a few natives that took exception to some Blues jumping up when City went ahead. There was some verbal directed at the boxes, but that was it.

My take - yes you can get away with more than being in the "home seats" but not to the extent of being witht he city fans.
