BOYCOTT THE SUN!!!!

Couldnt we all get together and write to MCFC and say we are sick of the bullshit they are writing about our club and ask that the sun are banned from CoMS and Carrington?

bought the sun this morning and slung it straight in the bin ! Cannot remember any club ever getting treated this badly by the media. I realise that all journalists are constantly looking for a story but this has become ridiculous.I personally will never buy the sun(or any other News International) paper again.

never buy the sun myself.just read bits of it in asda cafe.who is the senior member of staff at city who says robinho has been let off.who the fook is this cuntsis fella reporting all this bollox.how does he know robbie is getting awy with it? was he there when mh met robbie? whoever buys the sun or news of the world needs to have a serious word with themselves.the picture of robinho in the sun looks to me like he is enjoying himself.don't buy that nonesense rag!

I know pretty much all the press, rag tops and 'quality' papers have stuck it in us lately, but the vitriol from the News International companies or Murdochs Machines has been some of the worst:

BSkyB - Sky Sports & SSN
The Sun
The Times
The Sunday Times
The News of the World

Why? Is it because our owners could pose a real threat to Murdoch? Not in terms of owning City, and breaking the 'big four' ‘quadopoly’, but any lofty ambitions ADUG or their associated companies may have in the future regarding TV rights.

In the grand scheme of media empires, Murdochs is not the biggest in the world; many US groups dwarf it. ADUG have the ability and finances to pose a threat to future TV rights. What’s to stop them setting up a broadcasting subsidiary and going after the EPL rights? There isn’t a conflict of interest, since BSKYB used to own a large portion of rag shares.

I appreciate ADUG have never said they intend to do this, so its pure speculation on my part, and it may just be the gutter press doing what they do best (or worst), but I don’t remember this level of criticism levelled at Chelsea.

I sent this email to the parasite that is Ian McGarry last week... Got a reply as well funny enough.

Dear Mr McGarry

Below is a piece from todays Guardian (21s Jan), written by Daniel Taylor. I ask you to take a few moments to read it if you have not already. Here is a piece of Journalism that puts a man of your age and experience to shame. I have bought The Sun newspaper for many years and in all these years of reading it I have never seen such a thinly veiled attack on a football club as your piece today about Manchester City. Had you taken the time to establish all of the facts regarding the 'Kaka transfer', then maybe you would have been able, well the more I think about it, you were more than able. You just chose to jump on the 'anti city' bandwagon that had rolled into town, and the offices of practically every 'red top rag' in the UK. Your idea of 'sensationalist journalism' rather than 'real life facts' only serves to show how sad and delusional you are when it comes to doing your job properly.

If you type the word 'Journalist' into the popular search engine Google, the first entry takes you to the wikipedia page where the first line states -

'A journalist (also called a newspaperman) is a person who practices journalism, the gathering and dissemination of information about current events, trends, issues, and people while striving for viewpoint that is not biased'

Did you read that correctly? Just incase you had not, let me repeat the last two words for you. NOT BIASED.

May I also go back to the peice in the Guardian, refering mostly to the Journalist who had wrote it and ask you to take note of how young he is.

Furthermore I shall DEIFINATELY NOT be buying the Sun newspaper again as you are now on the same par as the Daily Mirror, which really should be a Manchester United fanzine.

Please find the aforementioned peice from the Guardian below.

I doubt very much that I will be getting a reply, I'm sure you will choose to hide behind your fictitious articles and I'm sure the only thing hiding behind you is your buggering boyfriend.

Yours
Glenn McGoldrick

Nice one. I have been emailing them for nigh on 3 weeks without reply.

I have a stack of poorly researched articles and quotes pulled out of context from over a year ago and refreshed into new articles to help them along with their bile.

What was the reply?
