Boycotting US stuff

You may not have noticed seeing as your head is up your arse and you are very much the flag bearer for 'I'm alright Jack' (see your contribution to Brexit thread) but America has changed a tad since they saved us all from speaking German. Well, they didn't but I digress..
Donald Trump is the epitome of evil and he's showing it in full view of the watching world.
Only those who are as cuntish as the man himself fail to see this. Which is why I'm not surprised to read the posters names who play it down.

So you don't think the USA was instrumental in defeating Germany then ignoring their WW2 films the yanks were the lynchpin however much some try to distort history, Russia's colution defeated Poland Russian oil fueled Hitlers blitz in the west, America supplies allowed us to stay in the fight it suited them admitted, American supplies kept Russia in the fight.

yes their supplies and resources were vital to both us and the sovieta, but the british and commonwealth, the soviets and many partisans were involved in winning the war in europe while the yanks only make films abput their triumps yet omit they were sinking their own tanks too far off shore at omaha beach, hence why it was the bloodiest.

The only foreign wars America has ever fought alone were 1812, which was a draw, and the Mexican and Spanish-American wars, which were decisive US victories.

I neither said we should or shouldn’t boycott them. I simply asked you if there was a point where you’d say they’ve gone too far or if you would just say they’re handy for us so turn a blind eye to absolutely anything they do.

I think we’ve bent over for them for long enough since the war. They’ve started more wars than anybody post world war 2 and are responsible for the huge drug industry and problem throughout the world.

nah Canada kicked your arses in 1812 and the spanish.-amrican. was the US were not sole combatants against spain, the Cuban. and Manilan revelutionary army were your Allies ;-)

It like saying we won the penisular war alone or Waterloo.

Plus we are talking WW2 and onwards, and no dismissal of Americas contribution was made, without the yanks supply chain and money Russia would have ran out of weapons and Britain would not have beem able to counter attack.

The arguement was that the Amerivan view they won the european war (pacific is different) and achieved all the major victories and we would be all under nazi. rule without them as peddled by US media and films is false, no one is saying Ameriva were'nt important, just they were equal

Would need government action, people won’t boycott likes of KFC, McDonalds etc, they’re absolutely jam packed at shopping centres and service stations most days

Sorry for late reply it’s brew time now if I thought our relationship with the states was detrimental to the UK then i wouldn’t support it, as for starting wars since WW2 they’ve been the de facto world policeman so they tend to get embroiled just as we did for the 200 years before that. Not to sure what you mean with the drug trade are we talking pharmaceuticals if so we have a great deal with the States tariff free which is beneficial to us both. I’ve been over in the states quite a bit with my cousin being wed to a major in the yank army(now retired) and have never found the people anything other than pleasant.

Just not true. The Treaty of Ghent which ended 1812 restored the status quo after American victories at Plattsburgh (over a much larger force including many British regulars) and Baltimore chased the British off American territory.

Films are films, but I don't think many educated Americans claim the US won the European war singlehanded. Idiots and Russian bots on Twitter maybe. As you say it was an allied victory and its important to remember that.
