Pep isn’t going to play someone ahead of an established first team star just because they are young and out of the academy. However if like Rico he thinks they can do a job at a particular time then he won’t hesitate. For MacAtee I reckon the season he has just had playing in a man’s league puts him in a good place, but only when Pep deems it’s right; I think he will get decent first team minutes this season, but we have great players ahead of him
