Brahim Díaz

He wasn't "messed about" or "left on bad terms", you're replying to a troll without a doubt.

Brahim looked a serious talent in the academy against other kids but against seasoned players he looked more as he was, a greedy player who thought he was better than he was. He would constantly run down blind alleys and just get crowded out until they took the ball off him. If he has stopped doing that now and finally worked out when to release the ball, then it's taken 4 seasons as a senior to figure it out. He wanted Madrid above all and got his wish along with (I believe) guaranteed games until they were able to ship him out to Milan.

He got his one and only Spanish cap due to covid 2 or 3 years back and it now looks like he's switching allegiance to Morocco. Spain aren't going to miss him.

I have no idea who it is that bumped this thread, but they're morons if they think we need him back.

I think what you said is 100% true and he did think he was much better than he was at the time, had he stayed here he'd certainly be further along in his development just because Pep loved him.

Defo not sure why this thread was created for him, he would certainly need to prove a lot more than he has before ever seeing a potential return here.

Ahh, of course, I'd forgotten that you have "special" knowledge of how things transpired. Do you have any actual evidence or can you even let us all know what you're referring to?
My pleasure - when the club stopped his loan to Las Palmas only to try and fail to sign Mahrez 3 days later and still only use him for 70 minutes total in the second half of the season the family decided they wouldn’t sign a new deal. There’s a bit more to it but that’s the TLDR version.

Double sourced - 1. Relative who has worked with the first team for over a decade, 2. Relative who acts as a host family for City and still knows the Diaz family.

So you're saying he was entitled and thought he should be given games despite not being good enough to command a starting place? And we messed him about?

No, literally the opposite. He was going to Las Palmas, potentially for 18 months, because they knew City couldn’t guarantee him games and was going to sign a new deal. He was told he was needed after Sane got injured, so the move was off, and he was then never used.
