Brahim

The cost of the transfer is not extraordinary for a 14 year old when you consider £300k is the initial fee, we have paid around this figure for youngsters before so is nothing unusual and the add on's are par for the course, the press will make out that it is disgusting without knowing the full facts, but this really is a great deal and could be the best piece of transfer business we may ever do without doubt

Feels a bit odd getting excited about a 14 year old, so I'll simply hope we don't do a 'Denis Suarez', and he ends up going back to Barca anyway.

Was that video earlier of him at 14 or younger? Because he's getting nowhere near a first time until he grows a bit. He's still a toddler.

wonder what age he will play in the academy?

Good question... have a feeling it could be U18s, but he's physically so small and I wonder if he can handle it yet.

I would say he should go in the u16s, he is so small compared to some lads who play u18 level and there is no rush. But what do I know, I'm glad I've not got to make the decision! time for the academy staff to earn their crust

So we've got the next Messi coming in, the next Ibra (Zacharias Faour) coming in January and half a dozen next Vieira's already at the academy.

Should have half a chance of another youth cup soon.

If we can't sign the new Messi, maybe we can sign the new Silva:

Here's a recent pic of Brahim with his English tutor (so maybe City convinced him months ago):

And here's Brahim today leaving for Manchester. :)

Let's be honest, Malaga have sold us someone from their U6 team haven't they?
