This has nothing to do with an 'agenda'. Don't give the guy that much credit. He's just dumb and lazy.

So any negative attitudes towards us are 'dumb and lazy' and gives no credence to an agenda against us? Thanks for clearing that up.

Step away from the hatred of the media (justified) and the paranoia (excessive) for a second and try to think which is more likely:

1) This guy is having a go at Coppell walking out on Bristol and has decided to claim he fell out with our dead ex-chairman when he left us because it will further an anti-city agenda somehow.

or

2) He's too lazy and stupid to check his facts before he prints shit in that crappy publication.

How pointing this out makes me a journo apologist I don't see.

No mate you got a link? Who dya support? Brum? Bristol?

Bradford and no link bud but it went along the lines of "Coppell left Man City after not getting on with Peter Swales"

Suppose he would argue he was "technically" correct.... the fact the reason he never got on with Swales was because he was pushing up daisies is a minor point.....

The quality of journalism in this country is dire!

Jesus wept, did he really say that? Swales had been dead for nearly 6 months when Coppell arrived.

Charles Sale got exactly the same fact wrong in his Daily Mail diary, too (maybe him and Brian 'panto dame' Woolnough compared notes over their Little Chef breakfast). Submitted a comment online telling him as such but, surprise surprise, it wasn't published! And he's the first journo to stick the knife in if anyone blunders in public...

if someone complains about you getting your job wrong (to you) they stand less chance of having an impact than if they complain to your boss (hint, hint) :)

What is Les Ferdinand on about on that sunday roast/Colm Murray podcast?

Basically going on how Mourinho made only a couple of signings when he arrived at Chelsea, whereas City have made far more... Last count I saw he made 7 in the first year, then 5 the following year.

WTF?
