I don't normally like starting threads as i like to join in and add my opinion or facts to others but i've made an exception.
I'm going against the Cartel on the Mancini is leaving in the summer group to get some balance on the info front.
I must admit i was in there group until recently but now things have changed i'm in the Mancini is staying group.

I know they have there followers and believers and i'll probably get slated but i'm standing by this:

Mancini is staying and there will be an announcement in the next couple of weeks

One thing is for sure that only one of us is going to be right but who?

As said before, the ONLY logical reason for removing Roberto would be if Mourinho was coming in. Anybody else.... Stick with Roberto.

However, what was discussed saturday (when we were together), suggests that there are a number of issues that need to be addressed; and quickly!

IMO the only person we would have considered removing Bob for is Mourinho, more than likely he has knocked us back again.

I would certainly trust Bob with the chequebook and he will win us the Prem.

I expect that the powers that be at City are obviously aware of certain mutterings from certain players about how unhappy they are at the prospect of Bob staying beyond the summer.

By allowing various managerial rumours to circulate it gives the club some breathing space whilst we come into the final couple of weeks of our quest for 4th spot.

We certainly wouldn't want certain players not performing at their max potential on the basis that they felt Bob was here long term.

On the contrary as the powers at City are aware that the rumblings about various changes are not helping.
That's why they will make an announcement in the next couple of weeks so we can all pull in the same direction.

If an announcement was being made surely it would have been made by now.

In 2 weeks the season will be all but over.

I really hope bobby stays, i dont understand why we would look any further, this guy has passion, just look at him! he wrestled moyes on the touchline how many of us would have done that?(all of us being the answer lol) hes one of us, he loves his new name, he treats the team like he is the boss, not rolls over and lets them doss around in training, some might not like him but isnt that the sign of a good boss(imo) hes there to get the job done,and i think so far he is, start o the season hughes target was top 6, we are now 5th and within reach of 4th, he is working with hughes team, i had no probs with hughes and i believe we would still be in this position had we stuck with him, either way we are on target, what more do u want!

Exactly right, announce Bobby is here long term and you can bet complacency will set in.

It also makes perfect sense that the owners would evaluate Bobbys record at the end of the season, not 4 games out. The next 4 games will rightly or wrongly determine whether Bobby is seen as a success or failure based on the 70 point target.

Im with the OP, Bobby will be here next season.

As has been discussed on here a few times - if Mancini stays then I expect the transfer dealings will be done by committee. So any failings in the transfer policy will be the responsibility of Rigg and Marwood rather than Roberto himself...
