Gary Cahill from Notlob.
People just don't think of him because the press aren't feining all over him like they have with Hangeland but ask some Notlob fans and they'll tell you he is class and probably with their 'keeper (can't be bothered attempting to spell it) he is their most important player.

lescott, toure & maicon all great but its acentral def` thats needed- carvalho deal to inter fell thru` so why not get two years out of the great grease bag- he ll teach the young guns a thing or two and would balance out the defence( for two years until our scouts make a find of our own perfect young centre half like vidic,terry[when they first came into the scene]) i think dunne,micah,bridge,kompany & onuoha are great. the rest should provide cover for the season------ hangeland is no better(only in height and attacking)than our own players, lets keep our guys and improve them!!!!

I agree entirely, Gary Cahill is extremely under rated but he isn't much better than Onouha/Kompany really.
