pfffttt... Twaddle.Tricky fixture . We will need to be right at it and maybe keep a clean sheet though if Pep persists as he no doubt will with his project of Guardiol as a left back come left winger our opponents may just have spotted how weak it makes us.
Quick pint at Haywards Heath station bar on the way ?Setting off from Hove shortly, really looking forward to this. Don't care about the starting 11 or formation, just hoping for a positive result and performance which gets the dippers and gooners arses twitching. 3-1 City
It’s not, it’s 4 yards narrowerSame size as ours but theirs is just in a fucking shit toytown ground
The majority without Toney though.
Think you might be looking at a dodgy source. Premier League Handbook has all this years pitch sizes in it and it's listed as 105x68mIt’s not, it’s 4 yards narrower
Esp if that shyster Toney is playing..Tricky fixture . We will need to be right at it and maybe keep a clean sheet though if Pep persists as he no doubt will with his project of Guardiol as a left back come left winger our opponents may just have spotted how weak it makes us.
Did you see that PL interview Jack did referring to Lutons ground? Apparently flight cancelled night before game, had to travel down on day, disrupted the players meal/ pre match routines and some were freaked out by how small the stadium was, Jack was OK as used to that size of ground after playing at Notts County on loan years ago. I think this facR5 is gonna be a lot more tricky than many folks anticipating.Same size as ours but theirs is just in a fucking shit toytown ground
I know they adjust pitch sizes at the CFA if the team we're playing has a different sized pitch but certain things can make a place look even smaller and Luton ticks all of those boxes. Brentford is just a weird ground.Did you see that PL interview Jack did referring to Lutons ground? As for Brentford we really owe them a tonking, but am expecting difficult game tonight, the lads need to be on it. Let's hope Pep gets the selection right, a few attempt shots from range and none of this trying to walk it into the net. Also expect the usual standard of 'fair ' reffing we get and superlative, waxing lyrical descriptions using first names of all our players. Hmm think I will be waiting until a month of Sundays for either of those to happen.....
I dislike Luton intensely as I still haven't forgiven Raddy Antic and that beige suited slimball David Pleat ruining my summer in 1983 and giving me my first experience of real grief when I was only 20. Wish they would go back down, but they are a southern team, so are feted and beloved by the captured London and Southern centric media.( Exceptions being Rags n Dips).I know they adjust pitch sizes at the CFA if the team we're playing has a different sized pitch but certain things can make a place look even smaller and Luton ticks all of those boxes.
