Brentford (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Big result tonight, But it was never in doubt even going down 1.0 the result was always going to be City winning.
We now have this scary feeling when you face us, IT'S NOW AN ELITE club (MANCHESTER CITY). It's like we have a new swagger about us and you are watching GREATNESS, even if we let in a sloppy goal it's ok we will score 3 or 4 that is the measure of where we are right now.

Greatness is used far too often with other clubs in the Premier League that don't deserve it or go on to prove it
This Manchester City team and manager prove it and that is the difference in this League

Or in your own half or a throw in are the 3
Actually you can be offside in your own half. If you were in an offside position when the ball was played and then run back into your own half and do something to be offside (interfere with play or with an opponent) the free kick is from there. Theoretically it could be a free kick for offside in your own penalty area.

Got to sort things out at the back and somehow get some defensive control back.
All over the place at times and were doing their best to fuck it up at 2-1.
Out of the back 5 including Ederson, 4 were poor with only Walker looking convincing.
Attacking wise we were excellent and how great it is to see Kev strong and back.
Foden and Alverez also fantastic.
Thought Walker was solid, but him and Dias do seem to bring an element of panic to proceedings at times.

Thought Dias lost his way when we went 2-1 up, and made a great block just after making a complete hash of things.

I love Dias but I really wish he brought more of a calming affect, rather than the all action approach.

Their goal aside, I thought Ake was fine again, and Gvardiol was involved in most things we did well.
