Absolutely, but it always seems a bit of a lottery with how he connects with the ball when rushing out under a bit of pressure.

I only mention it as he obviously has a good eye from his amazing passing. Something changes when he’s running at the ball.

Agree. He wasn`t there to look for any attention but tried to let the game flow with some good old fashioned tackles going in. Very good in my opinion.

One thing phils got on el magico is goals..
But to refer to an earlier post I made about tonight's referee being in the way of passes ..
I'm pretty sure it was noted during David's time here and where he used to operate on the pitch that referees used to stand infront of him in his most influential positions on the pitch.
