Yeah it's crazy I didn't celebrate either goal until well after it's a spoiler for sure. Just pause it look at the feet and decide or make the lines thicker and if the overlap it's on. The chances of them stopping the play at the exact time the ball touches the foot is a crap shoot.I just don’t like the fact it’s done on flailing arms that you cannot score with, and yet the defender seems to benefit. The whole of the defenders body played Laporte onside but they chose where to draw the lines on his arm.
I did see the pre match interview and was very impressed, as always, with Pep’s handling. We’ve got a real team spirit, I feel, within our club.Did you see Peps pre match interview EB? He basically asked Phil the same loaded question
(after Pep tore him a new one)
Pep got away without using any subs, but although Brentford didn’t really threaten towards the end, I can’t understand why Gundog and Mahrez were rested. OK we have Arsenal in 60 something hours, but ten minutes wouldn’t have worn them out.
It depends on who is scoring. If it was Pool then is a goalI think the offside rule has to change again: goals like that should not be disallowed.
I think both lines should be the thickness of the ball and if they touch it's onside and if there's daylight between them (and the furthest line is the attacker) then it's offside. Fucking simple.I think the offside rule has to change again: goals like that should not be disallowed.
Yeah its a tough one don't think they will ever solve offsides or the handball rule. We will have this conversation every season. It shouldn’t do anymore as they use the broadcast lines rather than the pixel lines.
The issue to me is more where they draw the line down from. Kane did have similar yesterday though so there is an element of consistency there.
I feel sorry for the groundsmen, its gonna be a long night of mowing, just think how many times they will have to empty the grass box? Poor b'stards
He doesn't do it all the time, United was the last time we didn't make a sub. By the same train of thought, if we were in no danger of conceding, would we be in anymore danger if he had decided to preserve legs and put a fresh forward on the pitch that will be able to work harder than whoever he replaces? He does this all the time, and his method is the right one. Did we look like conceding tonight? Nope, we weren’t under and trouble so he saw no reason to change it up.
