Brentford (A) | Post Match Thread

Pretty much how I felt. As long as we go into these two finals in good health that is all that matters. On the stream that we had up Glen fucking Murray was going on about the bad form we're taking into the finals, the stupid fucker. Really didn't he see the sides we put out.
Is that who it was. He was fucking depressing me.

Kelvin Phillips does not belong at this club. At the very least Jack and others showed flashes in their first years. This has been downright ugly every step of the way. No idea what happens here because I doubt the club would sell him after just one year.
Hey may ask for a move though because let's face it, he isn't getting much game time next season on his showing so far.

I really thought some of our squad players would put in some great performances in the last three games to show they want to play a big part in the two finals (or even that they’re good enough to play a part at this club long term).

Apart from Foden, none of them did, and it was disappointing to see despite none of the results being important.

However, it’s been a very good season and still could potentially be the greatest in our history. I just hope we can find a way to build ourselves back up to a high performance level of the finals because losing the rhythm makes it extremely difficult to get back (seen it so many times with so many teams, where they can’t get back up to that top level).
If the lads can't get motivated for 2 cup finals I'll be amazed.

Doesn’t need City to have played our strongest team today for us to up to it and sharp v utd.

The magnitude of the game and barrage of the red loving media’s coverage should be enough to shake any complacency.

I am more concerned as to whose on VAR on Saturday than losing to Brentford.
On VAR duty for the FA cup final is David Coote, a ref serial losers Man Utd have never lost a game with when he's been in charge...
