I think we can still win this, Alvarez, Foden, Silva, Palmer, Phillips, Laporte, Walker, Stones, Lewis and Rodri with Eddie or Ortega in goal, not a bad lineup that, but not in that formation, Mahrez on the bench along with Gomez etc.

OMG this is a disaster if true!!!!
KDB, Dias, Grealish should certainly play today to gain some game rhythm but now, if this is true, it will not happen so they will go to FA Cup game without any rhythm.
Even worse of course if they have some minor injury and some of them will not even play. I do not want to think about it :( :(

Damn, things were rolling so well, I wonder wth happened after Real Madrid game here and those injuries came up?!
Fingers crossed....

Ederson , Walker , Lewis , Laporte, Ake , Philips , Foden , Gomez , Mahrez , Workd Cup Winner and Palmer , this guy is usually about right , make of it what you will , up the blues

I prefer that than to play a mixed team as then it would mean many players have minor issues, while with that it would mean he would like to rest them all.

But of course it would be strange as per Pep's philosophy(and he is right) players should maintain a game rhythm and playing a 2nd team this is contradictory.

Now I have started to be extremely nervous for FA Cup final :( :(

I've alluded to it before but I'm now convinced this is a rag wind-up account and it's going on ignore. Absolutely embarrassing to post nothing but negative doom mongering after we've just won the league and we're on for a treble. If you have nothing but misery following Pep's City maybe sport isn't for you.

It’s Fordyboy46 burner account for when they want to go ultra negative instead of the bog standard negative.

Just had a look back at our 1936/7 season ,the year of our first ever title win

Played Brentford away on April 3rd,beat them 6-2( Peter Doherty scored two) in front of 37,000 spectators...prob not a chance we 're create that scoreline this afternoon..

Maybe more realistic is the 2-1 win we beat the same team 4 days later at Maine rd,Doherty scored again,in front of a smaller crowd of 25k.

These old fashioned ( Easter?) double headers seem crazy nowadays
and Brentford in the top flight all those years ago..just shows each club has its own rich history ..not necessarily appreciated by opposing fans.

Today..? 2-1 City World cup winner brace.

Disaster is a bit dramatic

As for Grealish, he has played a LOT of football for months. Although I think momentum is important, I don't think it would do him any harm to sit out a few games and get refreshed for the finals.

Either way, I'll trust the judgement of Pep
