gonna be a tough one tomorrow, might have to have extra beers on the way down to number the potential f*cks that might happen during the 90 - then I can sleep off the jourmey home!

sometimes I wonder why I do this, I've have been in London with work half last week, and half the week before, so yeah great lets go to London on Sunday too FFS! ;-)

For all our relative struggles last season we’re still one of the top 3 sides in the country and as such we should dispatch plucky little Brentford with some ease

Donnarumma
Lewis Dias Gvardiol O'Reilly
Rodri
Reijnders Foden
Bernardo Haaland Doku

3-1 City win. Haaland, Foden, Bernardo on the scoresheet.

It's just bizarre this place. I could have understood it 40 years or so ago but not now. Just a couple of weeks ago there were people saying we would never catch Liverpool, with one clown saying that we're "light years behind them". Win tomorrow and we're two points behind them, already with a considerably better goal difference. I've been saying for the past few weeks that Liverpool are scraping through and it wouldn't last. Looking at their squad and ours, I think we have the better, more exciting squad but it will take time to click, and we also need players back. Sure, we could lose too but it doesn't matter, it's far too early to be a concern yet even three matches in there were people saying we had "no chance" of winning the league with some even saying we'd struggle to make CL qualification again.

Three of the most recent signings, the three best ones in my opinion in Khusanov, Cherki and Marmoush have all missed several games so we can only get better when they get back to fitness and get game time, but all we get on here is doom and gloom and reading some of the threads, if you didn't know which team or knew nothing about football and you were just being introduced to the PL you would think it was a forum for one of the teams expecting to go down. There is far too much negativity and I'm sorry but I just think it's pathetic and a lot of people on here need to grow a pair and trust the process. We've got the world's best manager, striker and keeper and some exciting new players with others making it through the academy and I genuinely think we're capable of dominating for another 6, 8, 10 years. I don't think Liverpool are.
Agree with a lot of that, but it wasn't my question :-)
