Trying to analyse this game without over thinking it. I have concluded that, in a season of big games, it's... a big game. Win, and we're right where we need to be. Also, Auchentoshan is one of the best single malts I've tasted. Wonderfully smooth.
Glasgow's malt. I'm partial to a wee drop myself.

Feeling confident today, let’s show Brentford a class Manchester team after them beating neighbours Trafford rangers last weekend.

will always feel better when Khusonov is available but dont think he will be for this game.

hopefully rodri can play as well but I do think Nico G is starting to develop into a very decent understudy

who plays right side attack....do we keep playing bernardo or give Sav another go (he was poor again the other night when he came on)....can Marmoush (if/when available) play there?

Think they're unbeaten at home this season, so won't be an easy game. They're a big, strong side so we need to be up for the physical battle. Hopefully we should have too much quality for them.

Donnarumma
Stones
Dias
Gvardiol
O'Reilly
Rodri
Gonzalez
Rjeinders
Foden
Doku
Haaland

I can't see Stonesy playing 2 games in 4 days, so it'll probably be Nunes at RB,

Come on City, hopefully Foden shines at his favourite ground again, 3 pts today is a must.

probably Berni again and nothing happens on the right side of the attack.

Please turn up today City. After a rocky start to the season, when it looked like our normal rivals would cruise away into the distance, we have steadied the ship and they have sprung a leak. A win for us today would boost confidence and pile the pressure on them. A tough game against a big strong well drilled outfit in blustery conditions. Let's show some bollocks and get a result.

Yes a result today, even if scrappy puts us right in the mix after the unfit start to the season we had....might even work in our favour later in the season when players at other clubs are fucked going into late April/May our boys will be technically in March!!!!!

I watched these against the rags and they looked horrible to play against. Lots of long throws, direct football and a titanic battle for every single loose ball. An early goal would be a Godsend.

Not sure what to make of this. Brentford strong at home but have a forced change of manager.
Have predicted a win, but would accept a draw. Defeat not allowed.

Big day, need a performance.

A chance to go 3 points off of top. After 7 games having played Arsenal, Brighton and Brentford (A), Spurs and United (H), I'd have taken that.
