Don’t take it so personally, lol. Bottom line is you’d expect Phil, Jack and Jesus to start tonight, the rest of the team depends on who is feeling rested etc, and of course Pep will have one eye on Saturday depending on who he wants to be fresh for that game.
 
It's so tempting to get cocky at this stage...Lovely six-point lead. Some commentators are already making out it's all over, and in fact 'unfair' because City are so good.

We must resist. No opponent must be underestimated, least of all on their own pitch.
I hope that the XI that goes out there, however it is made up, will be 100% focused. Every point counts. We can relax when and if we're 10 points ahead with three games to go. Not before.
 
why do they schedule a game at this time of the year against an opponent not faced before, after facing another team twice (in our case Leicester)

the return legs are all in about 5 weeks as well
 
I’m thinking Mahrez will
play as he is off to Acon after this game. Anyone know if he leaves before the 1st on Jan in which case he may be available for the Arsenal game

Think I read somewhere the AFCON PL players go around 4th Jan, so he’ll be around for Arsenal.
 
I am actually glad we conceded 3 goals at weekend, boys will be more focused on a clean sheet tonight and the 3pts - yes, the Bees have players out and have slacked off from good start....but CITY need to be on this tonight and not ease off.....Pep will expect 110% from every single player, eye of the ferking tiger and all that shite......titles are not won in December but can be lost.
 
Think Kev needs to sit this out & save him for Arsenal he looked shattered in the 2nd half v Leicester.

Grealish & foden need a run in this game.
