I thought we played OK, controlled much of the game, my worry is 58 goal attempts in 2 games, but only 2 goals, that needs to improve. On the plus side, a clean sheet, something we're also not doing enough of.

I agree to some extent but when 2 teams between them play 22 players behind the ball for 90% of the games then I`m not surprised we have difficulty in scoring.
Having said that mate too often we try and walk the ball in, instead of having a pop from within striking distance.

U could take the positive in that and say haaland had a stinker against chelsea and their keeper once again had a cracking game 2nite, id be way more worried if we werent creating chances and we'll light someone up some

Phil was killing it, he just needed a goal to confirm he has been our best player this season. The second half in particular.
John Stones good as well, Rodri standard.
Satisfying performance considering their tactic and our obvious terror of being undone again by another counterattack.
I am not sure where is Pep going with this set up, Haaland has paid off with his goals tonight and against Everton, but we just don't have fluency and ability to move defences when he is up front. I am not sure Kev would change anything, that Dane just keeps finding new ways to go ultra defensive against us.
I am 2% more optimistic that we still have chance regaining the title.

Not bad for a misfiring team who have been without their star player for half a season and missing the worlds greatest Striker for 2 months. All this with the backdrop of being labelled cheats!
The only cheats I see is the refs lately. The decisions are going against us and it’s getting worse each game. How are we going to stop Liverpool getting a pen at Anfield. All our players will have to wear straight jackets for 90 mins.

I think all us City fans will be very happy after the anfield game, I have a feeling we are going to show why we are the champions of the world by going to places and facing them up

Good to get the clean sheet and three points. Its never pretty against these teams that set out to spoil, time waste and defend deep in numbers. Akanji, Foden, Haaland all had good games. Bobb was so unlucky with that shot aswell, magical touch to set it up.

The one thing irked me more than anything else in this match. Is Walker's inability to cross the ball with his first touch. Totally frustrating!!

Happy with the win and the clean sheet though.

How would you know? It was always with his second touch that he hit an opponent.

Think its more a case of us just being no where near clinical enough and giving keepers a good chance to make the saves.
We usually have by far the best goal difference and we are cresting the chances but our end product has fallen off a cliff this season. Some of our misses are just so bad its hard to see how we missed.

Tired minds. I’m amazed the team is doing so well considering. The all need 3 months off -:)

Akanji played well. Alvarez a mystery as to why he stayed on as long as he did. Haaland did nothing other than score, but its goals that win matches and his won it so fair play to him. Took it well.

I've no problem if these teams play the same against our rivals but they don't. They play wide open and get battered. I'd have no problem Brentford getting relegated but I fear they'll stay up.

If we're watching a rival play like that, we're saying they're nothing to fear, they'll slip up plenty playing like that etc.

Points are what matter of course and If we win every game until the end of the season like that, I'll take it, but we won't.

We won't beat any of the top sides we've got coming up in this kind of form. We look completely devoid of ideas when we get in the final third, I couldn't tell you what our plan of attack is anymore and are wide open on counters. Lots of work to be done if we want to keep our title and make more history.
