Flekken has been dogshit for Brentford this season apart from when he's played against us.

The Bobb one was just unlucky/lucky, not much more he could do, until I saw the replay I thought it crossed the line, but fair play to Mee for getting there.

Could he not have lifted it? He had the goal to aim at from what I could see? Obviously from up in SS3 it was hard to see exactly what happened but to me it looked like he had done all the hard work.

On that match thread I saw posts that said Dias, Akanji, Walker, Alvarez and Haaland as not very good and shouldn't be playing at City.

At this time of the season, performance doesn’t count but results do. So, who cares? Having said that, I thought you looked a bit pedestrian tonight against a team that might be dragged into a relegation battle. I’ll be interested to see how you perform as we go into the next 3 months. You’re still the favourites but not hugely so. Good luck, Mancs.

Take Alvarez out the middle and you'll see the team playing like the first 30mins against Copenhagen.

If not we'll keep seeing the same turgid and slow football, he offers nothing central.
There must be a set number of minutes he has to play in his new contract, its unexplainable.

It's definitely a head scratcher. If the majority of fans can see it Pep must see it. I get that he likes the lad but he's clearly not up to that role and it's causing knock on problems elsewhere. Is it some sort of ego thing with Pep? Just don't get it.
