He's a 20 year old Brazilian winger not arsed how he defends tbh, rather focus on the positives were a bit of a basket case as a whole defensively due to injuries and the poor midfield

Not interested in his age defensively, but we're a "basket case defensively", because those who play in wide attacking positions don't do enough defensively, namely Doku and Savinho, they leave the wide defenders exposed time and time again. One of our biggest issues at the moment, even Foden is guity of it regularly, he wasn't last season.

De bruyne by a mile. He grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck when we were being totally outplayed by fucking Brentford! The game changed when he stopped up, his cross for Haaland, his pass to brainless Nunes, his cross for the goal. This was vintage KDB. If everyone applied themselves like he did tonight we would have won, the problem is they don’t!

Savinho for me, how many runs, he's gonna be some player in a couple of years! - Although a lot of people were slating him I thought Nunes was pretty good, Ake awesome, and Phil just started to look like he had remembered how to play football before Pep took him off.

Went for Ake, for his performance throughout. Others such as Savinho, KDB and Foden had good little spells but Ake performed throughout. Foden took his goals well but aside from a 10 min patch after them he wasn't really involved much. KDB kept trying but more often than not it just wouldn't come off.

Ake - KDB showed definite glimpses but his pressing later in the game just wasn't there. He should have been subbed for the last fifteen.
