No player really stood out as an individual at all in general play.

Everyone played reasonably well first half, everyone looked remarkably average second half.

The big difference was that Haaland scored so he has to be MOTM.

Haaland for his fabulous goal and all round game. Mention to Dias, nice to see him have a solid game that will give him confidence. Thought Nunes and Gonzales played well, as did Phil. So overall, not a bad performance from the boys. Tough fixture to get three points.

Went for Nunes as I thought his general speed was helpful and link up play with Bobb in the first half was top notch

On that basis, Nunes, in the words of gary chuckle, "ran the game from right back" and for once he was spot on.

Honourable mentions to Ruben and Alfies lad, Nico G nowhere near as bad as he's being made out to be

Thought Gonzalez did well after he came on. Nunes, Foden, Bobb and Big Erl all decent too.
Collectively though we don’t half make it hard on ourselves!

I gave it to Gonzalez, there were actually a lot of OK performances but not much consistent over 90 minutes. He protected the back 4 didn't waste possession and was better than a lot of his critics suggest.

None of them was outstanding, but I gave it to Erling for his goal, link-up play and his defensive help.

Rúben, Joško, Phil Nico O'R all did well.

Decent first half. With a goal and plenty of defensive clearances went with Erling.

Dias was superb and we needed him to be. But Haaland had no right scoring that goal, he is just on a different level to anyone else and that won us the game.

First half, Foden & Reijnders were good, rest (except glaringly obvious one) were decent. Second half, back 4 and Donna were mainly good, rest pretty poor.
