Brentford tkts on sale from Wednesday.

This is what I said the other day.

The following groups receive away tickets, I have put in what I think is a fair allocation split for a league game

Season Ticket Members 85% minimum and to include the 18- 25 age group. Seasonal Hospitality Members - these are the same as Season Ticket Members and should be treated as such. Just because you are wealthy and buy a box shouldn't entitle you to jump the queue.
Owner, Board of Directors - Surely these people are invited into the directors area of the host club. Why should being a friend of a director justify a ticket
Football Management - two per person, maximum of 30 tickets in total
Playing staff - two person, maximum of 40 tickets in total but these have to be confirmed before tickets go on sale and if a player doesn't require them for their family (not hangers on) then they go back into the main pot
Club Officials and Staff - in my mind this has already been covered under directors, owner, playing staff and management. Why should head of security be allocated two tickets because he fancies a day out.
Former Players - maximum of ten tickets per away league game, first come first served
Club Partners - zero tickets for away games, they can have additional home tickets where we have a greater number
Man City Supporters Club - they are covered under season ticket members etc but would allocate 5% for overseas branches. If they are not required then they go back into the main pot

So for Brentford out of around 1700 tickets, around 170 would be distributed to everyone other than SC holders leaving circa 90% for points. All sorted, thank me later although I know I will upset supporter branches with my thoughts but seeing as branches should only allocate tickets to members with the required level of points those people can obtain tickets via the points system.
Former players?

If you add in the pull thrus.....the tickets available to point holders still doesnt equate to 60 % of the Brentford allocation. For some games it does (Brighton, night game, 5 hour + travel) but for high demand games it doesnt.
Whereas in the past we hardly ever sold out the 'corporate allocation', we do now with almost every away game oversubscribed..... Previously, what we didnt sell went back in the pot (Bournemouth away a few seasons ago, but went into a 'secret pot' via Kevin Parker and 50 plus seats left empty!!). I know for a fact that for fulham away, the corporate demand was 1250 requests, apparently city put them requests into a ballot and 344 corporates got tickets. Given the amount of half and half scarves at fulham....my guess is many more than 344 corporate tiks were issued!!
Unfortunately - Doesn't matter what we all think....the JCL with the money are being looked after!!!!
I think the corporate allocation has stayed the same but we now have more corporate people applying for that allocation. You’re quite correct- corporate now always goes to a ballot. Where I’ve previously been able to pick up at least one away ticket through corporate (except Bournemouth and the Derby) I’ve only been successful in the corporate ballot once this season. I’m not in corporate by the way, but have a colleague who is so anything I’ve got has been a bonus.
The opacity from City isn’t going to change. Looks like some hard core followers are being shafted royally on this one.

The only bracket that would have been a benefit too, would be someone with 25600 points, who would push up into the 26000 sales window,so that would be a minimal amount of supporters.

Not sure if this has been posted or not, but as a season card holder in commonwealth ( bottom of the hospitality tree ) and 39 years in total….
I can confirm that hospitality recd 260 tickets for Brentford away…that went into a ballot… oh I got zero
15% + 45% to loyalty pot and 18/25s so that leaves 40% for OSC, Staff, Former Players and Club Partners
