At least Horton had an entertaining City side that played for each other , and the guy had a bit of a personality and a refreshin' honesty about him too!

I just shudder remembering who replaced him as manager ....... I met him in the Governors arms in Cheadle in 2005, sat talking city for 20 minutes and he bought me a pint ..... top bloke

i loved watchin City at home under Horton we used to hammer teams i.e Everton 4-0, Spurs 5-2, West Ham 3-0 BUT it were the reverse away from home where we were prone to the odd spanking well pretty much every away game but top man he loves us and should have been given longer
