I think that Hargreaves has been signed only for cover when YaYa is away in the African Cup during January. It appears that he's only on nominal wages plus appearance money therefore worth a punt if only for one month. Heaven knows we seem to have enough midfielders at the Club. It's no big deal that he's not in the CL squad.

Can't understand Danny Mills, sorry, Bridge being in though.

What does this mean? Even if Hargreaves does play in the CL, it won't be until the knockout stages (assuming we get that far)?

But I think there is a chance we'll be through to the knockout stages with one game remaining and he could have played on that one.

Anyway, when he get his fitness back he'll have a grater chance at being in the squad for the knockout stages...

if he is good/fit/match fit enough by then there is no reason he could not get a sub appearance or to in the PL, or a league cup game or 2; then if fit he could be in the CL squad for the knockout stages assuming we qualify
