Well that was a pretty good first game. It was a little worrying, another case of total domination but not finding the goal. It eventually came from them losing the ball; nice work from Kevin; great pass David and sweet finish Sergio. Good cross Fernandinho and an OG always helps. Relentless run by Agüero to set that up so motm for me. Defence rarely troubled, Walker very good again. Go on City!

With all the hype going into this season it's not a surprise the game wasn't super exciting. But I'm happy. 3 points, team looked good. As the pundits are saying now, this was business as usual for City. Stay focused and we should RARELY drop points in matches like this. Chelsea lost and got 2 reds, Liverpool dropped points. Good day.

Kind of a boring match honestly. After we scored, I kept pulling out my phone for something to do before reminding myself to watch the match.

Interviewer - "Did anything happen out there that you didn't expect today?"
Brighton player - "No"
