We have conceded 5 goals in 17 league games this calendar year, not conceding in the last 4 games.

Brighton have only scored 2 goals in their last 8 league games.

Gotta fancy our chances of keeping another clean sheet.

Besides going goaless away at the dippers, we have scored in every league game this season.

As much as the odds are stacked in our favour, i'm still gonna be a nervous wreck, bring on Sunday. Come on City!
Well that is the jinx in then

My on/off marriage is on the rocks again and now terminal), my eldest is stressed to feck about GCSE's starting next week, the royals have named their child after the This! chaps, I'm stressed to feck with too much work and not enough time to do it in - who cares about the insignificant matter of a game of footy at the weekend?

(oh, that's me. Too much. Way too much...)

We're all churning nightmare scenarios and listening to the chumps league love in on the radio - though FFS. Just blitz the feckers!

In my mind we're either 0.5 up with ten minutes to go - or it's 0.0...

Ladies and gentlemen, don't want to pee on the Wolves love-in on this thread but may I present to you their captain:

Who gives a flying fcuk? We beat Brighton, we’re champions.

We lose out and the forum’s more paranoid fraternity have 3 months to bemoan every bastard bit of skullduggery under the sun.

you're not helping with my anxiety

I really love the 'Empty seats' song for it's soothing and rhythmic qualities.

I remember our excellent away fans at Fulham singing this for a significant time, and it made be believe everything was going to be fine.

If the players feel the same then I'm sure it will be a big help.

So please can I put a request in for as much of this song as possible on Sunday? If only to ease my own tension.

Thanks

I was in meetings today with a wolves fan. He has guaranteed they'll get at least a draw on Sunday, so that's good enough for me.

(does anyone know whether wolves are pathological liars?)

Brighton saying if we win it they’ll make us wait while they do their lap of appreciation. Surely sky won’t be happy with that with the tv scheduling
Will they do their lap during or after City fans' invasion of the pitch?

He is. They wouldn't be mouthing off if they needed a point to stay up. While you expect professionals to try to win every game you don't expect them talking about denying another team, it leaves a bad taste for me. If they do I hope we play them next year when they need a point to stay up, batter them and send them down. It always cones around.

It’s equivalent to our players saying I hope we get a point to send Brighton down. I’m not expecting them to roll over and hand us the title, but I don’t expect to hear things like we are going to help Klopp and get a point.

Its annoying and unprofessional. We remember things like this and will have our day whatever happens on Sunday.

Didn't score at Chelsea away either

Silly comment by Gross - however he and Klopp are friends, so no surprise.

Well, they were crap at ours this season, so there has to be a 100% improvement to get anything at Anfield.

Our last few results against Brighton have been close. We haven't walloped them like we have other lower placed teams.
I think its gona be like the Burnley game. We haven't created many chances away recently. All have been close hard games as teams shut up shop. Gona be a horrible 90min

2018/19
AWAY - ??
WEM - 1-0 - FA CUP
HOME - 2-0 - LEAGUE
------------------------
2017/18
HOME - 3-1 LEAGUE
AWAY - 0-2 LEAGUE

I think the unfortunate thing is that Wolves will go and play football. They are very good at that but that's what suits Liverpool.
Brighton, hopefully will do the same, but the fear is they will put 10 men behind the ball and try to hang on, like 2/3rds of the league do against us.
This would lead to a very nervous afternoon again.
