Brighton (a) pre-match thread

I don't know what it is about this season but I am usually quite calm watching city. These past few games it feels like I have had been on the verge of multiple heart attacks. Anybody else not been able to concentrate on anything else this week apart from the game on Sunday? Work has been a massive struggle. I cant wait till this season is over or at least this Sunday and maybe I will be able to enjoy the cup final.

Part of it is unquestionably due to who benefits if we falter. Were we duking it out with say Chelsea or Arsenal, I’d could probably just about cope if we lost out, but Liverpool’s fan base is filled with such sanctimonious, deluded, self-reverential cnuts, that failing to beat Brighton would be an unmitigated disaster. The thought of that happening serves to crank up the tension to unbearable levels

I couldn't watch the game for some reason, but checked in at half time and Wolves were winning 2-0, and we were winning 5-1. Full time results - Liverpool won 3-2 and we lost 7-5.

PEP (On the week of football) Incredible semi-finals and of course for us with our important win against Leicester. For English football it’s incredible. It’s good for our football.

PEP It would be nice to score quicker (on Sunday). We analysed Brighton this week. I know it will be difficult, like in the FA Cup. Just focus on the game we have to play. See what we have to do to beat them.
