There's nowt around the stadium itself unless you want to go on the University of Sussex campus (which is a nice campus, but probably won't let you in with colours and/or not looking like a student). If you're getting a train, there's lots of great pubs around either Brighton station or London Road station. Near Brighton station, you've got The George, The Albert, The Basketmakers, and The Great Eastern which are all under ten minutes from the station (don't go down Queens Road towards the beach, the only decent pub that way is The Hope and Ruin, and that's a bit more punky, head down the big hill under the station). Train is 10 minutes, but don't know if they have a special system for matchdays. If you're nearer to London Road or want to head in that direction let me know and I'll recommend some places.
Thanks mate

Those two entitled London wannabes? Arsenal at least are trying to develop a team with young players - and it just might work if they keep Arteta in charge for the next couple of years. As for Spurs? How long are they going to keep Nuno for. The worst mistake they made is letting Pochettino (sp?) go and not letting him strengthen the squad.
In answer to your question - yes, at the moment on the pitch, we outplayed Arsenal a couple of weeks ago but got a draw. Spurs we’ve beaten in each of the last two seasons. But being totally honest they are BIG clubs and we can’t match them in history, number of fans, size of ground, or big-headedness.
What are the odds on no penalty and no red cards? Well, Mike Dean’s not in charge so short odds I reckon, I’ll give Uncle Tony a bell and see what he says.
Arsenal, Spurs and West Ham have London to call upon. Huge conurbation and the area is a lot wealthier than Greater Manchester. Man Utd have a lot of support in Salford and parts of North Manchester but their support comes from all over the country. Manchester city are not like that yet but I am noticing City fans in other cities.

I think Brighton should expand your ground if you can. Getting a bigger fanbase is what sustains a club long term. Unfortunately, City missed the boat because Pep will be gone soon and when City dip 10%, a lot of new city fans wont want to know. They'll suddenly fall out of love with football and find excuses.

About to set off for this. Really looking forward and hopefully will be a great performance and day out.
Nothing beats a city away day.

This is will be tough, Brighton played well a lot last season without scoring, this season they have started taking their chances. We will really need to take our chances, in the league we’ve only scored 4 away goals so need to start scoring on the road.

It will be one of those matches where the first goal is crucial. Hopefully the performance in Bruges will set us up nicely for this one.
